It Will Do Everything But Talk
This is what Max C. Bonne, one of
the progressive meichauts of this city,
ays in describing u wonderful machine
which ho has just installed in his store.
It is a combination typewriter, print
ing press, dating machine, numbering
device, paper cutter and an adding ma
chine, all in. one.
The machine indicates to the pur
chaser the amount of every sale, and
the clerk who made it, and issues a
printed lecipt to the purchaser, showing
number of sale, date, business card of
proprietor and kind of transaction and
prints a complote detnil statement of
the day's business under lock and key
and also shows the proprietor the total
imount of each clerk's sales nt any
moment of the day.
The ntnehinc in question is the latest
and most improved type of a National
Cash Register and was built especially
to the order of Mr. Bonne.
In addition to the regular cash regis
ter there is a separate money drawer
for each clerk. If any of the cash draw
ers fail to balance, Mr. Bonne can tell
which clerk is responsible; if a bad
coin has been accepted, he can tell
which clerk accepted it.
The system that Mr. Bonne uses in
connection with the register was de
vised by George V. Frank, systems ex
pert of the National Cah Register Co.
