erties; to .buy, lease, or otherwise ac
quire, to hold and own, manage, oper
ate, improve, mortgage, sell or convey
or otherwise dispose of any developed
lands, concessions, franchises, mining
claims, oil wells, and any and all other
real estate and interests in any of said
properties; to engage hi tho building
of stamp mills, smelters and other mills
and the operating of the same, extract
ing precious metals, boring, digging,
drilling, tunnelling and exploring for,
producing, refining, treating, piping,
handling, storing, dealing in, buying
aud selling gold, silver, copper, coal,
iron, oil, lead, zinc, salt, petroleum, min
oral gas, asphaltum, bitumen, bitumin
ous rock, and other minerals and hydro
carbon substances, and for such pur
poses to buy, contract for, leaso or
otherwiso acquire, hold, own, manage,
operate, mortgage or sell or otherwise
convey, refineries, pipo lines, tank cars,
manufactories, machinery and other
works, property and appliances and
rights of-way that may be necessary or
convenient or appurtenant for the pur
poses of said corporation; to manufac
ture electricity, obtain rights of way,
erect poles, string wires, and buy or
sell electricity; to carry on and control
a general morchandiso, forwarding, com
mission and storage business and to
that end to deal in any and all com
modities of every kind conducivo to the
successful conduct of said business; to
buy, procure, hold, own, soil, construct,
equip, mortgage, maintain and oporate
railroads, steamships, ferries, tramways,
stage lines, automobiles and any and
all other kinds of transportation, in
cluding" equipments thereof and there
for, for mining or transporting, or for
other lawful use of business; to own,
handle, or control letters pat
ent a'ud inventions; to purchase
or otherwiso acquire, hold, own, pledge,
hypothecate, sell or dispose of tho cap
ital stock of this or other corporations,
and also bonds, dobonturcs, bills, prom

bonds, notes, mortgages and deeds of

special objects of tho corporation is
for the purpose of acquiring and oper
ating what is known as the "Cren
shaw Group" located in Gila and Pinal
Counties, in tho Pinto Section, about 12
mile3 from Globe, Arizona, paying
therefor in cash or stock of this cor
poration, or part in both; to acquire,
by consolidation or combination shares,
of other companies; to have the right
to issue preferred shares and tho samo,
to bo guaranteed to pay a stated an-j
mini dividend as may bo doomed nd

in general to do aud perform any and,

incidental to tho objects aforesaid or in
anywise connected therewith, all of,

The authorized capital of this cor

Million Dollars ($2,000,000), which cap

hundred thousand shares of tho par
value of $10.00 each share. At such
times and under such conditions as the
Boaul of Directors may diroct, such cap
ital slock shall be paid into tho cor
poration, either in cash or by sale and
transfor to it of real or pirtonul prop
erty, or by services for tho use and
purpose of said corporation, in paymenj
of which shares of the capital stock
shall be issued, and said stock when
issued shall bo fully paid and non-as-
sessablo, and tho judgment of tho Board
of Directors as to tho valuo of the prop
erty purchased or services rendered
shall bo conclusive.
The time of tho commencement of
this corporation shall be tho time when
these at tides are tiled hi the office of
tho County Recoider of Gila County,
Territory of Arizona, provided that a
certified copy thoreof shall bo filed in
tho office of tho Territorial Auditor of
Arizona; publication of said articles
shall bo made, and affidavit of such
publication filed, in tho manner and "at
tho timo required by law. The termina
tion of this corporation hall bo twenty
five years from and after the date of
filing a certified copy of suid articles
in the office of tho A i"'.tor of tho Ter
ritory of Arizoua.
The affairs of this corporation shall
be conducted by a Bonrd of ten direct
ors, elected annually by, and from
among, tho 'stockholders, but the nuni
bor of directors may be increased by
vote of tho diroctors, and iu tho event
of Mick increase occurring, then such
additional membership sduill bo filled
by the Board. Tho first annual meeting
of stockholders for this purpose aud for
the transaction of such other business
as may properly come before them,
shall be held ou tho 1st Weduosday of
February of tho year 190S, aud such
annual meeting shall thereafter be held
ou the same day in each succeeding
Tho officers of this corporation shall
consist of a President, Vice President, a
Secretary aud a Treasurer, though tho
last two offices may be held by one
