ever, that branch offices may bo estab
lished and maintained nt such other
place or places, oithor within or with
out tho Territory of Arizona, as tho
Board of Directors may from timo to
time detormino, and at any of thoso of
fices meetings of the stockholders and
diroctors may bo held and all business

proposed to be transacted by this cor
poration is to locate, buy, boud, ac
quire, hold, own, lease, possess, operate,
or sell or otherwise dispose of mines
and mining claims, or prospects, of gold,
silver or copper, and all other minerals,
and all kinds of mineral lands or prop
erties; to buy, lease, or otherwiso ac
quire, to hold and own, nmnago, oper
ate, improve, mortgage, sell or convoy
or otherwise dispose of auy dovolopcd
lands, concessions, franchises, mining
claims, oil wells, and any and all other
real cstato and interests in any of said
properties; to engage in tho building
of stamp mills, smelters and other milh
and the operating of the same, extract
ing precious metals, boring, digging,
drilling, tunnelling and exploring for,
producing, refining, treating, piping,
handling, storing, dealing in, buying
and selling gold, silver, copper, coal,
iron, oil, lead, zinc, salt, potroleum, min
eral gas, asphaltuni, bitumen, bitumin
ous rock, and other minerals and hydro
carbon substances, and for such pur
poses to buy, contract for, lease or
otherwise acquire, hold, own, manage,
operate, mortgage or sell or otherwise
convoj) refineries, pipe lines, tank cars,
manufactories, machinery and other
works, property and appliances and
rights of-way that may be necessary or
convenient or appurtonant for tho pur
poses of said corporation; to manufac
ture electricity, obtain rights of way,
erect jiolos, string wires, and buy or
sell electricity; to carry on and control
a gonoral merchandise, forwarding, com
mission and storage business and to
that end to deal in any and all com
modities of every kind conducive to the
successful conduct of said business; to
buy, procure, hold, own, sell, construct,
equip mortgage, maintain and operate
railroads, steamships, ferries, tramways,
stage lines, automobiles and any and
all other kinds of transportation, in
cluding equipments thereof and there
for, for mining or transporting, or for
other lawful use of business; to own,

ent and inventions; to purchase
or otherwiso acquire, hold, own, pledge,
hypothecate, sell or dispose of the cap
ital stock of this or other corporations,
and also bonds, debentures, bills, prom
issory notes, mortgages and pledges of

bonds, notes, mortgages and deeds of
trust to secure the same. One of the

for the purpose of acquiring and oper
ating what is kuowp as the "Cron
jhaw Group" located in Gila nnd Pinal
Counties, in the Pinto Soction, about 12
miles from Globe, Arizona, paying
therefor in cash or stock of this cor
poration, or part in both; to acquire
by consolidation or combination shnro;
if other companies; to have the right
to issue preferred shares and tho samo
to bo guaranteed to pay a stated an
nual dividend as may bo deemed ad
visable by the Board of Directors; and
in general to do and perform afiy and
all acts and things necessary for and
incidental to tho objects aforesaid or in
anywise connected thorowith, nil of
which business or occupations may bo
carried on at such places, oithor in tho
United States of Amoica or foroign

Tho authorized capital of this cor
poration is and shall bo tho sum of Two
Million Dollars ($2,000,000), which cap
ital stock shall bo divided into two
hundred thousand shares of tho par
valuo of $10.00 eacli share. At such
times and under such conditions as tho
Board of Directors may direct, such cap
ital stock shall bo paid into tho cor
poration, either in cah or by snlo and
transfer to it of real or ptrtonal piop
orty, or by services for tho use and
purpose of snid corporation, in payment
of which shares of tho capital stock
shall bo issued, and said stock whon
issued shall bo fully paid and non-assessable,
and tho judgment of tho Board
of Directors as to tho valuo of tho prop
erty purchased or services rondercd
shall bo conclusive.
Tho timo of the commencement of
this corporation shall be tho time when
these articles aro filed in tho ofiico of
tho County Recordor of Gila County,
Torritory of Arizona, provided that a
certified copy thorcof shall bo filod in
tho ofiico of tho Territorial Auditor of
Arizona; publication of said articles
shall bo mado, and affidavit of such
publication filod, in tho manner nnd at
tho time required by law. The termina
tion of this corporation shnll be twenty-
flvo years from and after tho duto of
filing a certified copy of said articles
in tho ofiico of tho A' i''.tor of tho Tor
ritory of Arizona.
The affairs of this corporation shall
bo conducted by a Board of ton direct
ors, olcated annually by, and from
among, the stockholders, but the num
ber of directors muy bo increased by
vote of tho diroctors, and in the event
of such increase occurring, thou such
additional membership shall bo filled
by tliu Bourd. The first annual meeting
of stockholders fur this purpose and for
tho transaction of such other business
as may proporly come boforo tliom,
shall bu held on tho 1st Wcdnosdoy of
February of tho year 1908, and such
annual meeting shall thereafter be held
on the same day in each succeeding
Tho ofiicors of this corporation shall
consist of 11 President, Vice Presidont, a
Secretary and n Tieasurur, though the
last two ollices may be held by one
person. The following named persons
