Morgonstorn and tho doctor of tho steamship Koomgin Luiso in bury ing ovor tho sido Mrs. Proutico, who died at sea. Mrs. Prontico, with her daughter, was on tho way from Italy to Now York, tho steamer having Bailed from Genoa on April 18. On April 27, Mrs. Pren tice, who, it was said, had boon suffer ing frpm a sorious nffection, died in hor berth. Hor daughter insisted on hav ing tho body of hor mother embalmed and convoyed to this port. Dr. II. Lo bor, the ship's physician, who, it was said, took counsol ivith tho royal Italian commissioner, who looks after tho com fort and safoty of immigrants, advised Captain Morgonstorn that tho body could not bo kept on tho ship. Against tho most vigorous protests nnd pleadings of tho weeping daughter, tho body of Mrs. Prentico was dronnod ovorboard tho snmo day, a prayer being read ns tho ship stopped.
