An Ordinance Rolating to the Number
ing of Houses.
Be it ordained by tho Mnyor and
Common Council of tho City of Globe:
SECTION I.
It is hereby made tho duty of every
housoholdor, owner, occupant or other
person having chargo or control of any
house within tho City of Globe, to main
tain upon each such house, in conspicu
ous plnccs, bucIi numbor or numbers as
may bo required, designated and fur
nished by tho City of Globe
For each numbor designated, furn
ished and placed in position such houso
holdor, occupant or agent Bhall pay tho
City tho sum of fifty cents.
Tho snid houses shall bo numbered
on a bnsis of ono hundred numbors,
divided equally por block, and distrib
uted consocutivoly and proportionally
on either sldo of tho stroot in each
block, tho odd numbors being upon tho
cast and south sides of tho streets res
pectively, and tho even numbors boing
upon tho north and west sides of tho
streets, as nearly as may bo.
. SECTION II.
It is hereby mado tho duty of tho
Superintendent of Streots to superin
tend the numbering of houses as afore
said and tho collecting therefor.
SECTION III.
This ordtnanco shall tako effect and
bo in forco from and after its pas
