GLOBE, Juno 11. Stocks wcro again
raidod by tho bears and romnincd under
fire all day. The whole Jist Buffered
greatly, soiling off fiom ono to four
points, and tho close was very woak.
The opinion seems to prevail that cop
per will decline two or threo cents por
pound and this, with money somewhat
tighter held, is used by tho bear factors
as ammunition with good results.
Big interests soom to bo out of tho
market again and no visible buying
power existed today. Upon any furthor
sharp breaks good stocks should bo a
purchase, but wo ndviso moderate buy
ing. Tho local stock market was somewhat
stronger today. Globo Consolidated is
boing hold firmly, selling around $11 to
$11.50, and Globe-Arizona is also look
ing hotter. Daily shipments are mado
to tho Old Dominion smelter of ores
limiting well in copper.
Superior & Doston are reported to

nnd this evening woro four feet in tho

being known. This should bo a good

The idea of excluding any of the
yellow races in this country is not an
abstract assertion of superiority, but
rnther a recognition of important diff
erences in fundamental ideas bearing
on social, political and economic life.
Tellow men ciftinot bo assimilated by
tho white race, nor do tho former seek
tho amalgamation when they flock in
as immigrants. Their object is to get
wages on the American scale, but pre
servo at the same time their distinctive
habits nnd loyalty to their native stock.
Between the Mongolians and the men
of western countries there arcintellcct
unl barriers that cannot bo pascd. Tho
problem is deeper than those belonging
to ordinary international intercourse,
nnd must be settled on its own merits.
