Poter Sullivan, a well known miner of tho district, is confined in tho city jail on a vagrancy charge and will have a hearing in Judgo Thomas' Court this morning. Sullivan has been drunk for about fifteen days and is said to havo been bumming drinks and bracing people on the streets for money. Pugilistic. George Arnold, boozy, bloody and battorcd, was arrested yes terday morning and confined in the city jail charged with disturbing the peace. Arnold declared hostilities on Ben Kip ler in McDonagh's saloon first nnd fol lowed it up by making a second attaek on tho samo man in Keegan'a saloon about an hour later. Both men wero arrested. Kipler made bond. They will havo hearings in city court this morn ing. Sanitary Step. A. Hansen, manager of tho Dominion hotel, was arrested yesterday on a warrant charging him with maintaining a nuisance.
