Lato Tuesday afternoon about 10,000 sheep pnssod ncross tho Barolns bridgo on route to Snowflnkc, Ariz. They came from Boswoll, N. M., vm Abo Pass, nnd tho mesa. The shoep were in chnrgo of George Campbell and James Porter, tho ownorB. Five thousand two hundred and fifty of the shoop wero tho property of Mr. Campbell, while Mr. Porter owned tho romaiiidor, and tho animals wore n very lino looking lot, showing that they hnd stood tho tripexcellently. According to Mr. Campbell, less than fifty sheep hnd died from exposure or fatiguo on tho trip, and tho number tho herders killed for food were included in that estimate. Tho 10,000 sheep will folio wtho snmo routo as tho 28,000 which passed ncross the bridgo recently, en route to tho Salt River valley. RESOLUTION NUMBER SIX BE IT RESOLVED by tho Mayor and tho Common Council of tho City pf Globe, that: WHEREAS, tho GLOBE ELECTRIC LIGHT & GAS COMPANY, a corpora tion duly organized under the laws of tho Territory of Arizona and having its principal place of business within tho City of Globe, has made an offer to install a street lighting system with in said City to bo supplied with Gen eral Electric standard street lighting arc lamps upon tho following terms and at tho following prices, to wit: Said Company offers to enter into a contract for a period of not less than ten (10) years to supply tho City of Globe with a street lighting system of not less than twenty (20) of said General Electric standard street lighting arc Iamps, anil thereafter, at tho request of tho said City, to install additional of said lamps to tho extent demanded by tho said City; nnd tho said Company offers to supply said services at tho price of eight dollars thirty-three and one-thir-1 ($8.33 1-3) cents per month for each of said lamps. And, tho said Company offers to construct, install and maintain said street lighting system at its solo expense, except, that any chango of location of lamps after same shall have been once installed, shall bo at the expense of said City.
