Change of Dates Mrs. Fort of the
Fort millinery parlors yesterday re
ceived a telegram that a special ship
ment of millinery was en route, which
is said to bo the finest ever brought
to Arizona, and for this reason her
exhibit days have been changed to Mon
day and Tuesday of next week. This
shipment now en route is coining di
rect from ono of the largest importing
houses in Now York and will bo great
ly admired by the ladies of tho city.

Lost Diamond Ring A stranger in
the city, who failed to give his name,
reported to tho ollicers yesterday that
he had lost a diamond ring some piaco
on Broad street between tho White
Houso saloon ami tho bridge over Pinal
creek. He said that he earned the ring
wrapped in tissue paper in his vest
pocket nnd remembered placing it there
just after coming from tho White
House. He missed it whilo passing over
the bridge. He claims that the ring is
worth $550, and told the officers that
ho was willing to pay $100 cash for
