The suit of tho Inspiration Mining
company vs. Charles K. Taylor, in
which n motion for a new, trfal was to
have been argued, was settled on a
stipulation, the matter having been ar
ranged out of court. Tho causo of the
suit wan a disputo over mining claims,
as to priority of lotations.
Motion of the defendant for a bow
trial was denied in tho caso of Frank
Thompson vs. the Globo National bank.
Notico of appeal to the supremo court
of tho territory was given by the de
fendant. Thompson originally received
judgment against tho bank for about
$7000 for damages alleged to have been
incurred by tho refusal of that institu
tion to houor his check.
In tho suit of Thomas Fuller and
A. M. Lockwood vs. Clara Kinney, mo
tion of tho plaintiffs for a new trial
was taken under advisement. V
Alvah Lewis was denied a new tria'
in his suit against .T. II, Thompson and

to recover 15, cents per sharo on a quan

ant declined to accept on contract and
which was later sold at a lower figure.
