We have examined the public buildings and find them in good condition and well kept. W'e wish especially to indorse the present method of road working, and to request that the Police Jury of this parish encourage the more general use of the split-log drag. It has been brought to our atten tion that the attorneys of this bar do not pay their license, as required by the law, and we recommend that the Tax Collector proceed to collect the same.
