National War Savings Committee "I'h1 spaoe ((ontributelt' for the winniiing of the war by R. H. WHITNEY, Insurance, ,T. JOSEPH, LA. You Are A Slacker If You Don't SignThis Pledge Our government wants you to agree to economize during the war. It wants you to cut out some luxuries and things that you do not need. It wants you to sign a pledge that you will do it. It wants you to put on the pledge the number of dollars you will save. Every man and woman, every wage earner will be given a chance to take this pledge. It is your duty to sign it. It is your duty To Save and Buy Every wage earner is expected to save in the next six months at least $20 in War-Savings Stamps for himself and every member of his family. Those who can save more should do so. Every man or woman who can do this and does not is a slacker and is not doing his duty He is unpatriotic. Get out of the slacker class. Do as much as our Allies across the seas. Every man, woman and child in England and France is lending every cent that he or she can to the government. Your government does not ask as much of you but it does ask you to make some lit!le scrifices; enough to buy your quota of Stamps. YOU have got to help lick the Kaiser. Y(O)U have fgot to do your share. Show your colors. Buy War-Savings Stamps.
