This morning a decision was being given in the Federal court in the case of Stevens vs. Woodhousc. All the witnesses have been examined, but it is thought no verdict will be returned this morning. A large number of delegates arrived last night and about 100 more are expected to day. The total at tendance will be between 250 and 300. Volksfest Uxourstons. Three excursions on the Sunset road came Into the city last night about 6 o'clock, all filled with excursionists to the Volksfest. They all arrived about the same time, and the crowd, the depot officials say, was the largest they ever saw at the Sunset depot. The size of the crowd was beyond the carry ing capacity of the street cars and hacks, and it was some time before all the visitors pro cured transportation up town. All the trains on the International coining in last night were crowded wilh visitors, and a great many core arc expected to arrive today. PERSONAL.
