This machine, as stated below is a counterfeit,
and all persons are hereby cautioned against sel
ling, buying, or using them. Wheneyer-and
wherever thev are found the law will be atrinlly
enforced. All parties using these machines, as
well as those who vend them, muke themselves

About the 2t)th day of Auffnst, lrsbb. j was
employed hy Mes.rs. Watson, Wooster & Co ,
composed of Wm.C. Watson. Morris Knight, and
ueo. tl. wooster, to manuiucture sewing uia
chines, which were known as the "Watson Ten
Dollar Cewlng M ichine." That thereafter 1 re
ceived a notice from tlie counsel of O. B. Potter
and N. Wheeler; mentioned lu tho annexed copy
of injunction, iuforming me that these Machines
were an Infringement upon Letters Patent which
thev owned, and that suns Would be instituted
against mc, unless I should otherwise settle with
them, ill's notice I bonded to Mr. ootcr, one
of my employers.
I then made investigations tq ascertain tlie
facts, and found that said Machtne, as I believed,
was an inlrineement ol said l atent, and 1 hit
formed said Watsun that such was my opinion.
