FORDSON SERVICE AND ITS VALUE
A TRACTOR MAY HAVE THE POWER TO PULL TWENTY PLOWS
THROUGH BLACK GUMBO WITHOUT A SLIP, AND IT MAY BE A
BEAUTIFUL PIECE OF MACHINERY-WHEN IT RUNS-BUT UNLESS
IT IS BACKED UP BY THE SERVICE OF THE DEALER AND THE MAN
UFACTURER IT IS A POOR INVESTMENT.
TEN THOUSAND DEALERS ARE READY TO SERVE THE FORDSON
PURCHASER. THEY ARE THE SAME WHO HAVE SERVED THE OWN
ERS OF FORD AUTOMOBILES FOR YEARS. MUCH MORE IMPORTANT
IS IT THAT YOUR TRACTOR BE READY AND WORKING AT ALL
TIMES, WHEN SEED IS PUT INTO THE GROUND BEFORE SPRING
RAINS, OR HARVEST MUST BE HURRIED, TiAN THAT YOUR AUTO
SHOULD BE READY FOR A PLEASURE TRIt.
THAT'S WHAT FORDSON SERVICE MEANS-KEEPING YOUR TRAC
TOR RUNNING. NO LONG WAITS FOR REPAIRS ARE IN STORE FOR
FORDSON OWNERS. EVERY ONE OF THE TEN THOUSAND FORDSON
DEALERS CARRY A STOCK OF FORDSON REPAIR PARTS SUFFICI
ENT TO MEET URGENT DEMANDS.

NOW THAT THE HARVEST SEASON IS ON US AND
ABOUT TO OPEN WITH AN UNUSUAL LABOR SHORTAGE,
HIGH COSTS OF MONEY, MATERIAL AND FEED CONFRONT
ING US ON ALL SIDES; YOU ARE NATURALLY CONSIDERING
THE PURCHASE OF A TRACTOR; SOMETHING LIGHT, YET
POWERFUL; DEPENDABLE AND SIMPLE, ECONOMICAL AND
EFFICIENT; SAFE AND EASY TO OPERATE; ABLE TO NEGO
TIATE ANY AND ALL CONDITIONS THAT ANY TRACTOR MAY
BE EXPECTED TO DO; MI~'tMUM INITIAL COST, YET SUFFIC
IENT TO INSURE THE PURCHASER AGAINST INTERIOR
MATERIAL AND UNSKILLED LABOR IN ITS PRODUCTION AT
THE FACTORY, THEN YOU SHOULD CONSIDER THE NEW
MODEL K WALLIS TRACTOR IN WHICH ARE INCORPORATED
MANY SUPERIOR POINTS WORTHY OF YOUR MOST CAREFUL
AND CLOSE CONSIDERATION.
I. Your selection should include in its specifications a light Tractor
--not over thirty-eight hundred pounds, yet strong enough, at least
fifteen horse on the draw bar and twenty-five on the belt, to enable you
to go in your field when the ground may not be entirely dry-such as
the Model K Wallis Tractor.
II. Your selection should include in its specifications a mud and
dust proof machine. In these Parishes where the soil is either wet,
requiring you to drive your machine in the mud, or, when the soil is
dry, in, a continuous cloud of dust, should select a machine that has no
moving parts exposed to the mud or dust-such as the Model K Wallis
III. Your selection should include in its specifications a motor
whose normal speed is su!ficiently low to avoid the usual wear and
subsequent high cost of maintainaace which usually accompanies the
purchase of a high speed motor, yet sufficiently strong to do your
required work at a, tractor speed capable of making three miles or
better, and cquipped with interchangeable cylinder sleeves that may
be removed and replaced in two or three years if it becomes necessary
to do so, instead of having to buy a new clyinder block-such as the
New Model Wallis Tractor.
IV. Your selection should include ii its specifications a tractor that
is absolutely safe under all conditions, easy to operate, one that any
man can operate whether he has had any previous tra ~tor experienec
or not and yet able to make all grades that a tractor may be expected
to do-such as the Model K Wallis Tractor,
V. If your selection requires the above mentioned sec:ificaticns
we would be glad to have you call at our sales loom or phone 217, and
we will be very glad to prove to your own satisfaction thra we have
the Tractor that you are looking for and that you have been thinking
about for some time.
