The machine is simple, light and atrong, It takop two rows of cotton of almost any size at once, and can be made to- cover at least twenty acres per day. Mr. Attaway is hopeful and will use his machine upon his own farm this year, where be hopes to thoroughly demonstrate its utility. Acetyline Plant Explodes. Jennings, July 18.-While reeharg ing a fifty-light acetyline gas plani here this afternoon, B. J. Perry, at employee of the A. F. Derouen Hard ware Company, sustained very pain ful injuries by the explosion of thi plant. The plant had been idle for sev eral months and young Perry was put ting it in shape for use.
