Mr. Herman Breakham of Pitre vile was here Sunday visiting friends. Mr. Demon Bertrand was in town Saturday to see about his eye. Mrs. S; D. Barret and son, of Mal let, were the guests of Mr. and Mrs. E. Lafleur last week. Mr. J. R. Lafleur and family of Crowley were here Sunday visiting relatives. The Farmers' Union held a meeting Saturday at the school house it was not largely attendd. Messrs. Emar Andrepont and Emar SLafleur motored to Ville Platte re cently on business. Miss Addie Prud'homme of Mallet is the guest of Dr. E. Lafleur and fam ily. Miss Ruth Evans of Basile is visit ing Miss Emma Durio. Horse racing is still going on in this part of the country.
