Mormons as Disturbing Factors.
Many.-Several Mormon elders have
been doing missionary work in the
eastern part of this parish for more
than a year and have destroyed nearly
all the harmony and neighborly feel
ing in a large scope of country. The
people became aroused, had meetings
and warned the elders to leave the
country, which they failed to heed.
This week abont eighty men started
sfter them, ut the Mormons heard of
the storm that was brewing and wisely
decamped. There is a crippled elder,
who has been ordered to leave as soon
as he can walk, which he has promised
to do.
Oneo Killed and Several Stabbed.
Shreveport.-A negro fracas occur*

cisco to Manila. The Nashville got
away Saturday. The Marietta sailed

Hampton Roads. The fast Brooklyn is

ships all go by Suez. From the other
side of the continent there will start

also refers to three cases mentioned by
pr. Tourette. in which dogs showed
aysterical symptoms.

of Santo Domingo. They abandoned it
