above entitled suit, and to me directed by the
Hon. 9th. Ward Jstice ('ourt o the Pariah of
Iberia. dated the 29th. day at Agua t A. D. 1188
I have seized and will proceed to sell at public
auction to the last and highest bidder, at the
Court House door in thetown of St. Martinsville
parish of St. Martin. on Saturday the 3rd. day
of December A. D. 1857. It beingthe first Satur.
day of said month, between the legal hours, the
following described property to wit:
A tract of swamp land in the parish of St. Mar

97 30110s acres. Said ads made to satisfy said
above mention writ.
This being the second and last action the said
property will be defintely adjudicated to the last
and highest bidder for whatever amosant it will
bring at tweleve months credit, the purchau
furnishing bond, with good and solvent security
bearing eight per sent interest per annum frea
date and special mortgage on the property sold
until payment. Oat of the pries of adjsdition
the purhaser shall hsave to deduct and pay In
cash the amout of printing, 8beriffs sa~Clerk's
fees as well as Stats and Parish taxes of 13B7
which amount will be stated on day of sale.
