'T..YI 3ha orFt¢ The District politics is getting' to be a little lively at this time, I Iwe believe all the candidates who + will come out have unfurled the banners to the political winds. SThis week we have heard from re liable sources that Mr. James Si mon, 'who has done good service as District Attorney some years ago, is out as a candidate for Judge, al I so Judge Foster, the present irr b cumbent, is seeking re-election, SCapt. A. N. Muller, former Dis trict Attorney is a candidate for that office and Mr. Edwin Brous 1sard the present District Attorney is also a candidate for the office. The rumor has it that Mr. Simon Sand Mr. Muller will run to tlier, and Judge Foster and Dis 4j trict Attorney Broussard are mak ing a common fight. The comhin ations of the candidates when made public from the proper sour ces will have the effect of dividing the lines of the voters; at thistime some express themselves favors bly for one candidate for Judge and for another for District Attor. ney, which makes this campaign , somewhat different from other po litical contests.
