We are of opinion that the board
of health should order every hog
from the center of the town re
moved to the outskirt of the town
or to the country. At a former
ruling one bog in every yard was
allowed, but now that we are
threatened with yellow fever, and
every body fells the necessity of
cleaning up and disinfecting. We
believe it is impossible to disin
feet a yard that has a bog in pen
or in the yard. They should be -
ordered removed, and the order
should be made to remain in force
permanently, from March to No
vember of each year.

The removal of mosquitos for this

Acoording to the theory of Dr.

should be done all over the state,
in every town and in every yard,
is the destruetion of tell grasses

all water surfaces is recommended.
A liberal application of lime and
oil will have a benefeiail effect up
on the general health of the eom
