New York,Feb. 21.--The day
before the scheduled arrival of
Prince Henry of Prussia and his
suit has been an exceedingly
busy one for those interested in
the reception and entertain ment
of the distinguished guest. Mem
bers of this and that committee
have been hurrying about all day
in-a frantic effort fo complete the
details of their end of the ar
rangements. Decorators in many
parts of the city are engaged in
putting jup flags and bunting
and the; city is fast blossoming (
out a mass of color. The -main
scheme of the decorations is the
colors of the two nations inter
spersed and crowned with golden
eaigles. Another popular form
of decoration is the prince's por
trait draped in bunting and ex
posed in windows.
1t is ovident that the celebra
tion will draw one of the largest
crowds ever assernbled in New
York. Hotels and boarding
houses are overflowing with vis
itors, many of whom have jour
nied hundreds of miles to witness
the festivities. The gathering
of such a large crowd might be
thought a good opportunity for
anarchists to perpetrate their
nefarious work, but if they show
their heads above the surface
during Prince Henry's visit they
are assured of a warm reception.
According to expectations the
Kronprinz Wilhelm, with Prince
ienry and his suite on board,
wiil reach port some tome tomor

A Good Habit
The habit of buying of Hebert & Andrus, the Southside general
merchants, is a good habit to get into. They sell everything
usually kept in a first-class g(encral store, and on account of their
large trade they are constantly receiving new goods, which you will
always find fresh and clean. Since douoling the size of their
building they have received a new stock of UP-TO-DATE Dry
Goods, Ladies' and Gents' Furnishings, Shoes and Notions. Our
GROCERY and PROVISION D)EPAIATMNIENT is filled with good thing to eat.
