Mr. I. Blanchard, of Murphysboro,

dent Grant has appointed Hon. D. W.
Munn, of this city, to bo suporvisor of in
ternal rovonuo in tho stnto of Illinois.
Mr. Munn has boon a faithful worker in

waited long for " something to turn up "
that would roward him for Ins efforts in
behalf of tho radical household. As tho

Tho body of a dead man wns found a
few days ago in tho woods in Kentucky
