THE BULLETIN.
The undersigned has purchased tho
halMntcrost heretofore owned by M. C.
Saunders In Thk Bulletin establishment
and will hereafter conduct tho business in
his own name. His partner, residing at
Memphis, Tennessee, could not con
tribute In any way to the prosperity of
The Bulletin, and retires now that tho
undersigned may receive all tho rewards
his own labors may bring to
hlra, and alono bear the bur
dens his ventures In business may
entail upon him. The partnership, which
has been entirely harmonious, In dissolved
by mutual consent, but with regret, alio
mutual, that the llitere.it of each of the
partners should render dissolution neces
sary. Heretofore the actions of tho undersign
oi have been somewhat constrained in his
business conduct by a desire to not step
beyond the wishes of an absent partner
whoso interests were at stake with his
own ; but now this embarrassment has
been removed, and he will not fail to avail
himself of the liberty brought to him by
the consciousncs that his own wel
faro is alone at stake, to risk all .bo has in
an attempt to make The Bulletin print
ing establishment one of the most com
plete in ,the State. He ban already pur
chased very valuable printing materials-
presses and type, and has had built a splen
did steam engine. He may now point to
The Bulletin office with some degreo
of pride; but his efforts shall not bo re-
axed, if the business men and the good
people of Cairo sustain him by a liberal
patronage.
In a few days The Weekly will
be greatly enlarged and improved, and
The Sunday Bulletin be made a wel
come visitor to every family In the citj .
Both these editions of The Bulletin
will receive especial attention, and will be,
we have little doubt, acknowledged by
everybody to be entitled to the support of
overy Cairo man and woman who takes an
interest in the city and a pride in her meri
torious institutions. John 11. Oiierly.
