Tbe undersigned has purchased the
half-intereit heretofore ownod by M. 0.
Saunden in Tbx Bulletin establishment
and will heroafter conduct the business In
hit own name. Hit partner, reilding at
Memphis, Tennessee, could not con
tribute In any way to the prosperity of
Tux Bulletin, and retiree now that the
undorslgned may receive all the rewards
his own labors may bring to
him, and alone bear the bur
dens his ventures in business may
entail upon him. The partnership, which
has been entirely harmonious, is dissolved
by mutual consent, but with regret, also
mutual, that the Interest of each of the
partners should render dissolution necessary.
Heretofore the actions of tho undersign
ed have been somewhat constrained in hi
business conduct by a desire to not step
beyond tho wishes of an absent partner
whose Interest were at stake with bis
own; but now this embarrassment nas
been removed, and he will not fall to avail
himself of tho liberty brought to him by
the consciousness that his own wel
fare is alone at stake, to risk all.be has In
an attempt to make Tnx Bulletin print
ing establishment one of the most com
plete in ;the State. He has already pur
chased vory valuable printing materials-
presses and type, and has had built a splen
did steam engine. He may now point to
Tax Bulletin office with some degree
of pride; but bis efforts shall not be re
laxed, if tbe builneu men-and the good
people of Cairo sustain him by a liberal

come visitor to every family In the clt
Both these editions of Tax Bullxtih
will receive especial attention, and will bo,
we have little doubt, acknowledged by
everybody to be entitled to the support of
every Cairo man and woman who takes an
intereat in the city and a pride in her meri
