IN THE REAR
of the main building are located tbe Nows

In which many hands are employed "at
case" and "on tho forms," Is snug and
neat, well lighted and ventilated, and con
tains an immense amount of printing ma
terial. To this department wo have lately added
now type, and stands of tbe latest patterns
TUX JOB ROOM
is furnished with tho very best material
all the latest styles of Job Printing type,
borders, etc. "We have in use THREE
hunched tonts of type, andour facilities
for printing all kinds of large Posters and
all other kinds of Job Printing from tbe
elaborate circular of many colors, to a
cent ballad, both in reipect of style and in
price, are unequaled by any office in
Soutbern or Central Illinois. To this
largo stock, new patterns are' constantly
being added. Six skilled mechanics are
employed in this department, also un
der tho immcdiato supervision of
Mr. Samuel M. Dickson, a master me
chanica Job Printer whoso good tasto
and skill havo given him an enviable rep
utation In bis trade.
IX THE BOOK DEPARTMENT

Degcncr presses, all driven by a
TEN HORSEPOWER ENGINE,
built especially for The Bulletin, by
Messrs, Reed & Mann, and which has
given ut unqualified satisfaction. It is
jutt the thing a thing of beauty and
works like n charm. To tho building of
this engine Mr. Mann, who bus grown
gray in bis business nnd knows ull ubout
it, gave his special attention, and wo have
to thank him for a job wo have tested and
not found wanting in any particular.
Tbe Boiler, Engina nnd Shafting were
put in place, and all the machinery of tbo
Press Room arranged and fitted up by
Messrs, Rennio & Co., tho work being
done under tho supervision of Mr. Charles
Slack, to whose skill and industry wo are
under many obligations.

In this department Mr. I. C. Hueli, lato
of St. Louis Mo., Is the superintendent.
