nearest neighbors, who excitedly hasten
ed to the place only to witness 11 scene of
deep distress. Mr. and Mrs. Martin were
lying across tho threshold of one of tho
front doom, as if they hud fallen toward
each other, Mr. Martin's feet being on
tho porch and his wife's in tho room.
Their family wero about them. Tho lit,
tlo ones could explain nothing, and an
investigation only proved that tho fallen
ones wero doad with no marks of vlo
lenco upon thorn. We havo delayed tho
press in order to give tho abovo particu
lars, but will personally cxamluo into
tho promises to-day, and give tho partic
