Acommunicatlon from L. P. Butler, City
Attorney, (In relation to Phillip Talford,
praying, tho Council to remit taxes on
lota 21, 22 aud '13, In block 63 in the first
addition, us tho property was, aud is now
used for school purposes,) representing
that the property sought to be exempted
from taxation by Mr. Talford was ex
empt under section 211 of the 83d chapter,
entitled revenue of tho rovlsed statutes
was presented und roud, and on motion
the taxes were ordored remitted by tho
following vote, viz:
