The new settlers who are farming in North Dakota for the first time, began to look blue before the rain. But they now come into town with their countenances brightened. Rev. J. W. Snow arrived on No. 3 Monday. Mr. and Mrs. Dan Sink and two little daughters visited Mr. Ezell's family Sunday. W. B. Esell and Ernest Kewel have been sowing oats on M. R. Ezell's claim in Rose Ceuter the past we-k. Mrs. Ida West brook was in Trenton Monday. Messrs. Lambert and SmUb were in Trenton Sunday. Mr. Williamson, the pnmp repairer, has been in Trenton several days this week. W. B. Esell Hint Lande Deihl drove to Williston Saturday. Mary Esell has had 500 strawberry plants set out in her garden at "Rest Cottage." He neighbors are very much interested, as well as heraelf, in their growth. Reports from Mimouri state that the season is very backward, being unusual ly cool, with snow on the 5th lust. But we can truthfully say that North Dakota can beat that, since the snow on the 19ih.
