Mr. and Mrs. Troutmiller attended the ball game at Drady laat Sunday. John Stakston is doing considerable driving around these days, and the principal place of attraction teems to be at the old Mikkelson place. Andrew Hegreberg is busy breaking and is getting quite a lot of ground turned over. L. J. Larson called on Herman Trout miller last Sunday. A baby girl arrived at the home of Hans Nybakken sometime ago and jou can't reach Hans with a forty foot pole. D. J. Carty made a pleasant call on D. W. King last Sunday. Edwin Larson has finished seeding and is taking a well-earned vacation. Miss Emma Larson has been doing some sewing for Mrs. L. G. Larson. John Stakston and Edwin Larson made a flying trip to Minot last Tues day. Miss Ora Rygmyr visited at the home of her parents last Saturday. Herman Troutmiller, the South Prai rie farmer, brought out a gasoline en gine and feed grinder from Minot the other day and JW does his own feed grinding. Torning will have a ball team this summer and will take chances of a brushing up from the Drady team when they get through with Chicago. Anton Larson has been assisting D. J. Cirty with hid seeding. Pete Kyllo is doicg some breaking for Miss McCune. The town board met last Monday at Lewie Peterson, town clerk, and went over the assessor's books and found ev erything O. K. Iver Strand did the job. Everyone is wondering why John Stakston is wearing such a broad smile Hope we will fiad out in the near fu ture. Arthur Wetmore is busy shingling his barn these days and everyone is ex pecting a dance. A large crowd gathered at the home of Andrew Erdahl last Sunday and were treated to ice cream ana other refresh ments. All report a pleasant time. Edd Olson called on Edwin Larson last Sunday. John Hammer treated his house and barn to a coat of paint and his place now makes a very pleasant appearance. H. P. Russell made a business call to Minot last Tuesday. The farmers are gazing skyward these days looking for rain. Notice to Depositors.
