A sufficient contest affidavit having been filed in this office by Martha Meyer, contestant, against Homestead Entry No. 13862, made March 21, 1902, for SE 1-4, section 10, township 155, range 92, by William A. Van daveer contestee, in which it is al leged that the said William A. Van daveer has wholly abandoned the said land and changed his place of residence therefrom that there are no improvements on the said land whatsoever but that it remains in its natural wild state that he has been absent from the said land continuous ly for a period of more than six months immediately preceeding the date of the said contest affidavit.
