Charged With Murder in Second Degree—Judge Enge rud of Fargo to Assist the Defense Dr. Thoir Moeller was arraigned in district court Tuesday morning, charged witih murder in the second degree in connection with the death of Miss Gina Lein of Union, X. D. winch occurred in this city at the Lelind Hetel in Octoba'r. Br. Uoil ier received the copy of the informa tion in iperson and after reading it, tended the same to his attorney, E. 'L. Sutton. Mr. Sutton asked of Judge Goss -an. extension of time in which to enter a plea, stating that Judge Engerud of Fargo had been engaged Olaf A. .Olson tost his suit in dis trict court, against Jourgen Olson who formerly conducted the Lexing tn hotel, having rented the same from Olaf. Jourgen Olson offered to pay 1800 rent but Olaf insisted on Ibeing paid $1200. The defendant was given a verdict for $800 and in terest amounting to $821.30. C. S. Vfie, a prominent Biaisdell business man, was in Minot "Wednes day. Mr. Vie reports that Win. Brugman, a Tagus banker, has a petition out for commissioner of Montraii county, as has also Peter Kringen, a Biaisdell farmer. Arne Amtmdson the present commission er from the Fourth district, will make to assist the consell for the defense. Judge Goss gave the defense until Thursday morning in which to enter a plea. Former States Attorney McGee had filed" aji -information against the decter chargiifi him witih havinc yar for.med a criminal operation, but States Attorney Nash after reading the information, stated to Judge Goss that.,he believed the charge should be murder 4 in the second degree. Attorney Sutton objected to the charge of the information, but was overruled. The Model Steam laundry is add ing a lot of new machinery that will enable it to turn out more and bet ter work. They have just installed a negligee starcher, a cuff ironer, and a shirt and collar machine. A couple of sewing machines have been added, and special attention will be given to mendang fhe laundry that needs it. Kastner sold his farm near Max, on Tuesday and started with $300 on his' person for a visit with a sjster in IndTana, leavingg the re mainder of the money he had re ceived for his farm in a tonk.
