CURE FOR "THE BLUES."
While most people, at one time or
another, experience what is known
as "the bluee," few realize that this
deepoadent condition is occasioned by
the poisoning of the system through
the inability of an inactive Liver to
properly separate and throw off body
poisons.
Thait the publio might have a
liable remedy to assist in overcom
ing such a condition, Rexall Livi
Salts have been put upon the maifcet,
and we unhesitatingly recommend
thiem to you.
We will refund any money spent for
Rexall Liver Salts if they fall to pro

VISIT
FROM FORMER M. E. PAS
TOR.
Rev. Mr. Hale, former pastor of the
Methodist church, stopped over in Mi
not Sunday on his return to his home
in Cincinnati, from a tour through the
west. 'Mr. Hale states that the money
situation in the east is positively
alarming.
RYDER FARMER SATISFIED WITH
CAMPBELL SYSTEM.
Peter Benson, who farms one of the
best larms out in the Ryder district,
was a visitor in Minot Friday and'Wie
enjoyed a half hour's visit with him.
'Mr. Benson is a successful farmer,
and yet he realizes that farming r»
one of the hardest lines of business
of which to make a success. New
problems are confronting the farmers
every season. This year Mr. Benson
has been experimenting with the
Campbell system and he believes
that he has afield of wheat upon
which he used the packer that will
average fifteen bushels per acre. Five
acres were plowed last fall, and this
will yield scarcely anything. Mr.
Benson believes in deep plowing and
says he noticed that a number of
farmers between Minot and Ryder
were trying Camptoell'e method, in
plowing their land now. Most of
them, however, are not plowing near
deep enough in consequence they
will be disappointed next year and
condemn the system. Mr. Benson
has five acres of potatoes which were
frosted albout the time tihey were
ready to blossom. They are growing
again nicely, but he would like to
know whether to expect any spuds
or not from the patch.

The men plan to farlsh strong hay

Some wise men have bought pine
strips and dimension sto^k to put
their hay racks in good repair. They
pronounce our lumber particularly
fine for it is selected stock, strong
and straight.
We make a featuere of hay rack
lumber in July. This lumber is a

it makes racks which can safely car

KNOW WHERE TO COME
WHEN LINES ARE HARD
McKensie, N. D., July 22.—'Nearly
every day a party of homesteaders
from 'the drought-stricken part of
South Dakota pass through here, trav
eling overland with all their earthly
possessions in a couple of wagons.
The conditions around Lemon and ad
jacent town* from which most of
them hail, could scarcely be worse.
Grass and hay have dlsappie&rsd long
ago and stock has to be removed from
the country to keep them from starv
ing. Some of It Is driven out, but a
majority of the cattle have been so
weakened by trying to subsist on
bare soil that they cannot stand the
trip and are abandoned to shift for
themselves The homesteaders hav«
oome up Into North Dakota to earn
enough money to furnish them with
the bare necessities of life during the
twelve months leave of absence which
they hftve secured from their claims.
