Halaldson, legislator from Bottineau county, was in Minot over Sunday enroute home from Bismarck. Mrs. Wm. Hundreds of dozens of eggs are be ing marketed in the city daily. Minot merchants are paying fully five cents a dozen more for eggs than this pro duct brings in many of the towns. Senator Ed Sykes of Stanley passed thru Minot Monday enroute from Bis marck where he spent two months at the legislature. Swen Olson has been awarded the contract to build the two story brick block for Johnson & Johnson for their City Meat Market. The excavation is nearly completed. The frost is down four feet, making digging on the, sur face exceedingly hard. The diggers have been burrowing under the crust and McDougall, with his thousand pound pile driver is jarring loose the upper crust.
