That on an average, you will find our prices as low, or lower than most stores. Have you also noticed, we are not continually holding SPECIAL SALES? Did you ever stop to think that when it is necessary to hold these SPECIAL SALES so often, there must be something wrong with the regular prices? Have you noticed that our regular prices are as low and often lower than some of those SALE PRICES you hear so much about nowadays? Have you noticed of late how we have followed the market with our retail prices? We do not claim, by any means, not to be underaold on any article that we ojBer for sale. We do claim to merchandise with a minimum of expense, and we are trying to give the consumer the benefit. If You Are a Customer of Ours, You Know That on this declining market we are selling our goods at replacement values regard less of what our costs are. We take no particular credit for this as it is only sound mer chandising practice. That on the rising market we did not take advantage of the situation and raise our retail prices with the ever climbing prices at the sources of supply. We played the game as fair as we could under the circumstances, and the confidence we enjoy amongst the consuming public more than repays us for extra profits that might have been made. That THE NEW YORK STORE PRICES ARE ABOUT RIGHT, regardless of how much thunder you may hear of reduced prices nowadays, and the wise shopper will al ways get our prices before he decides to make a purchase.
