In behalf of the Association he also extended an invita tion to all to attend the banquet to be held ut 6:15 P. M. The chairman then introduced Mr. Col cord. who welcomed the visitors in his usual happy manner and followed it with gooil talk on community interests, im pressing upon the supervisors that each was serving his community in the honest performance of his duties, and-empha sized the fact that the success of the town and city depended upon the .suc cess of the-farmer. Mr.' J. A. Sorensen, superintendent of the County Poor Farm, next spoke on conditions at the farm, and the need of a proper home for the children. Stenersen, assistant state's attorney, gave a very clear eynopste of the law in regard to taxes he also er pjaieed the duties of supervisors at tke time of Township Board of Equalization meetings, and explained the poor relief laws.
