On motion the bid of the Minne apolis Bridge & Iron Co., was accept-^ ed and the chairman of the board authorized to enter into contract with said parties on the part of the county aud that the Minneapolis Bridge & Iron Co., be required to furnish a bond in the sum of $1,000.00 for the faithful performance of their part. On motion a refunding order on a valuation of $225.00 for the 1897 taxes was ordered issued to Anderson & Co., they having paid the Acme Harvester Go's.,,' taxes as per recom inendation of the village board trustees On motiou the following resolutions was adopted. The countv commissioners being in regular session proceeded to review and equalize the assessments for the year 1898, at the forenoon session, July 6th, 1898, in which occupation the whole forenoon session was used. XOn motion board adjourned to meet at 2 o'clock p. m. Board met pursuant to adjournment aud proceeded with the review and equalization of assessments. On motion the following changes were made in the real estate assess ments, it being the opinion of the board necessary in order to make a fair and equal assessment. Pilot Mound raised 20 per cent., Tyrol reduced 5 per cent., Greenfield raised 8 per cent., Clearfield reduced 10 per cent., Helena raised 5 per cent., Ball Hill reduced 5 per cent., Broad view reduced 5 per cent., Dover raised 5 per cent., Bartley raised 5 per cent., Cooperstown reduced 10 per cent., Lenora raised 20 per cent., 2d district reduced 5 per cent. On motion the following changes were made in the value of structures on real estate it being the opinion of the board to be the value thereof. Pilot Mound raised 100 per cent., Lenora raised 100 per cent., Tyrol raised 15 per cent., Sverdrup raised 10 per cent., Helena raised 50 per cent., RomnesB raised 20 per cent., Bartley raised 25 per cent., Structures on of wl ot section 34, township 146, range 61 raised 950.00, structures on of sei, se of sw and lot 6, township 147, range 60 raised $50.00.
