ing, in Smith St Nixon's Hall, his series of in
structive Lectures upon these Important sci
ences. Ho considored, at length, the philoso
phy and proofs of Phrenology, and illustrated
the same by reference to his costly arid exten
sive collection of drawings, representing many
celebrated as well as notorious characters;
also, showing the different temperaments
mankind, and thoir influence on mind aud
body. Tho practical utility of Phrenology,
like tho renown of Us distinguished and zeal
ous advocate, is too well known to require in
