About 40 members have signed up and the details of the association are now being worked out hv a sneeial committee. They obtained ac commodations at the Maurel hotel in North Globe and ever since Mrs. Esher wood has been seeking for traces of her husband. Mrs. Esherwood appealed to the southwestern newspapers for assist ance, hoping that some statement re garding her arrival would result in the discovery of some clue to Esherwood's whereabouts. The only clue she has found is the statement of a man who knew Esherwood to the effect that he had heard the man speak of going to TVinkleman. Esherwood is about 50 years old, 5 feet 10 inches tall and weighs 175 pounds. He wore a light mustache and his hair is turning gray. ARRESTED OX CHARGE OP MORTGAGING PROPERTY. O. V. Stewart was arrested Tuesday night by deputy constable Henry Hinckley and lodged in the county jail on a charge of disposing of mortgaged property, the complainant being Miller Moore. It is charged that Stewart mortgaged a piano, which was owned by his father inlaw, and when, Moore went to get the instrument, Petross claimed that it was his property and his soninlaw had no right to mortgage &. Walkup, sheriff at "Wichita Falls, Texas, spent the day at the union station with a prisoner. Mr. "Walkup has been to Douglas, where a negress was arrested on his advice.
