Denver, Colo., April 14. The amount
of snow in the mountains at the close
of March was much less than the nor
mal on all watersheds, says the U. S
weather bureau. In the mountains in
common with the plains region, 'the
weather conditions during last month
differed greatly from those that are
usual in March. There were few storm
with a corresponding light snowfall'
Bright sunshine and unusual warmth
during the greater part of the month
melted the snow-covering of the high
er valleys and unprotected slopes. The
attending run-off, much of which was
not utilized, would, under normal tem
perature conditions, have been delayed

silver trimmed serapes. The marching
song of the El Maida delegation is "El-El-El-Paso."
