In the 'future, the sheriff of El Tamo
county will receive but 45 cents per
day for the care of federal prisoners.
At Tuesday afternoon's meeting, the
county commissioners passed an order
to the effect that from May 1, the
sheriff must pay the county 5 cents
per day fer each federal prisoner in the
jail, as the county is required to pur
chase disinfectants, furnish blankets
and other like necessities.
In order tc assure a correct count j
the sheriff must furnish a report tf
the county clerk on June 1, and each
month thereafter, stating how many
i prisoners are confined In the jail.
