Rodolfo Itodarte, the young Mexican bull fight er, is expected to die as a result of being caught by an infuriated bull. Itodarte was executing some fancy cape performances when the bull caught him and tossed him high into the air. No sooner had he touched the ground than the animal was upon him again and seriously gored him with his sharp horns. Rodarte was immeditely removed from the ring and for a time it was thought that he was dead, but he revived slightly and was taken to a hospital, where physicians worked with him near ly all night. He is in a very critical con dition. Eligio Hernandez, another bull fight er was slightly .injured during the corrida. All kinds of business along the west coast is in creasing very rapidly, and a great deal of American machinery is being shipped into the country to handle the large crops that are being raised to supply the increasing demand. There are five large flour mills in operation near Navojoa and a great deal of flour Is shipped from here. The garbanzo crop is larger than ever this year and it Is predicted that 500 cans will be shipped from here' over the Southern Pacific in the next few months. There is a noticeable increase in the demand for land along the Mayo live? for colonization and irrigation schemes. After a long illness, Mrs. Theodore Gebler died sua denly, the immediate cause being heart failure. She was 85 yeirs of age and had resided in Nogales for 30 j-ears. Funeral services were held from the residence and interment followed in the city cemetery. The public schools of Nogales closed Friday and on Friday evening the pro gram was given.
