WOOL MARKET IS FLAT.
Boston, Mass., July S. As a remilt of a steady decline in the price of
wool In the American market, Ronton wool dealers have not only stopped
large quantities of wool in transit from Australia and sold them in London.
btf more recently this citj has assumed the nnus.ua! position of actually
being a wool exporter. .
It Is estimated that about 1,700,000 poiiids of foreign vtools held in bond
here, have recentlj been reshipped to London to be sold at auction. For six
months this year Roston has exported 3,u30,00 pounds of wool as against the
nominal amount of 170,000 pounds for the'sanie period last year.
These figures, however, represent very Inadequately the nool Yrhieli has
been taken out of the Boston market, owing to the depression In the American
