COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF EL
PASO:
Section 1. , , .
It shall hereafter be unlawful for
any person or persons within the cor
porate limits of the Citv of El Paso
bv having on hand, or keeping on hand
for sale or otherwise, large numbers
of domestic fowls or poultry to there
by create a disagreeable smell or odor
which annoys or disturbs those resid
ing in the vicinity, save and except in
the wholesale poultry district set
apart and designated in Section -hereof.
Section 2.
All that territory in the City of El
Paso embraced . within the following
limits is hereby set anart end desig
nated as the wholesale poultry district,
towit: . ,
Bounded on the north by Second
street on the west by the first alley
west of South Santa Fe street, run
ning parallel therewith, on the south
bv the Rio Grande, and on the east by
the first alley east of South Santa Fe
street. running parallel therewith;
provided that all places where poultry
or domestic fowls are kept in the said
poultry district shall bekept in a sani
tarv condition.
Section 3.
Anv person who shall violate any of
the provisions of this ordinance shall
be fined in any sum not more than one
hundred dollars.
