construction of a pavement on West
Missouri and Gladstone streets, from
the intersection of thA w.f Una
North Oregon street to the east line
j of Putnam street
Said pavement In all respects to con
form with the specifications thf.refor
prepared by the City Engineer, and
now on file in his office, which said
specifications have been approved by
this council. Said advertisement shall
appear in each issue of the official
paper which appears during the ten
(10) days prior to the 25th day of No
vember, 1910. All bids must be sealed
and each be accompanied by a certi
fied check in the sum of One Thousand
Dollars ($1000), payable to the Mayor
of the City of El Paso, and which shall
become the property of the city in the
event that the bidder, if successful,
does not within ten (10) days of the
acceptance of his bid, enter into a
contract with the City of El Paso to
complete said pavement in accordance
with said specifications within four
(4) months from the time of the sign
ing of the contract All bids must be
