That the City Clerk be and hereby Is
directed to advertise for bids for the
construction of a pavement on "West
Missouri and Gladstone streets, from
the intersection of the west line of
North Oregon street to the east line
of Putnam street.
Said pavement in all respects to con
form with the specifications therefor
prepared by the Cfcy Engineer, and
now on file in his office, which said
specifications have been approved bv
this council. Said advertisement shall
appear in each issue of the official
paper which appears during the ten
(10) days prior to the 25th day of No
vember, 1910. All bids must be sealed
and each be accompanied by a certi
fied check in the sum of One Thousand
Dollars ($1000). payable to the Mayor
of the City of El Pas', and which shall
become the property of the city In the
event that the bidder, if successful,
