We join more heartily this season in the EI
Paso Thanksgiving than ever before.
The past three months, we have witnessed
time and time again unquestioned evidence of
the public 's appreciation ,of the Calisher Insti

in our Temporary Location, we were able to give
anything but the accustomed Calisher service.
Notwithstanding this, our regular customers, as
well as new ones, did everything possible to help us in our re-organization.
Then too, other local establishments did everything possible to help us bridge
between our disaster and the resumption of regular business.
Faithful employes have, also, been no small factor in enabling us to offer the
service which we do today.
We are indeed most thankful, and, wishing local and out-of-town customers

A Message From Santa Clans
Christmas follows so quickly on the heels of Thanksgiving that we take
this occasion to tell you that we have heard from Santa Claus. This will
be interesting news to everybody, as in past years Santa Claus has been
identified with Calisher's. Santa Claus informs us that this year he will
have his headquarters in the Calisher Annex. Already, the Annex seems
a veritible fairyland of toys, dolls, games, and, in fact, everything to
delight the little folks. In this same connection, we remind you that but
one short month now remains until Christmas. Early shopping is strongly
recommended you have more time to shop, selections are better, and it
relieves in a great measure the strain imposed on salespeople
