Throats of Little Ones:

demic "has seized the children of 21a.-

Mining- company, which is baffling the
skill of the best physicians in that
part of the country. At first it was
thought this disease, an affection of
the throat, might be diphtheria and
tests were made by a number of the
best specialists in the states of phlegm
taken from the throats of different pa
tients, but a negatie report has been
received in eiery case. Dozens of chil
dren have been affected by the disease
and among those who died were the
children of Mr. and Mrs. Graham and
Mr. and Mrs. Hamilton. !

the murder of Camilo Zavala. The two
got into a drunken quarrel some time
ago, and a friend of Torres handed hm
a knife, with which he did the deed.
The supreme court has rendered a
decision confirming the judgment of
the inferior court, hence higher appeal
is impossible, except to the president
