real estate dealers in El Paso, owing
to unsettled conditions in Mexico there
is no active trading in that field.
All local realty dealers anticipate
an active fall trade and several large
deals are pending at the present time.

Bernard Schuster closed a contract
Thursday morning with S. E. Patton
for the erection of a new home on
Bliss street between Alta street and
Stevens avenue. It is to be a two
story. 10 Toom brick structure and will
cost $12,000. Mr. Schuster will occupy
it as his home.
The Perry-Kirkpatrick Realty com
pany has completed a two story flat
building at 924 Prospect avenue for W.

"W. J. Harris has sold to Louis Foix,
of Ysleta, the one and one-fifth acre
plot on the main street on which the
Valley drug store in that town stands,

the street from the property purchased
by Seth Orndorff from Mr. Harris
Wesnesday.
Another new apartment house of
two or three stories is said to be
planned for the West Missouri street
apartment section.
The concrete for the first floor of
the Masonic temple, has been poured
and it is expected to pour about one
floor a week.
Much Sidewalk Work Planned.
Sidewalks for Washington park and
Austin square are planned. At Wash
ington park a concrete arch will be
erected at the new entrance. Private
property owners will build sidewalks
from the county road to the main en
trance. The city will continue the
walks on either side of the new drive
all the way to the baseball grounds.
In the center of the entrance there is
to be a parked plot with cement cop
ing around the edges.
Work will start soon on walks and
coping to be run all around Austin
square in East El Paso. Two thou
sand feet of cement walk, six feet
wide, will be laid along the Texas &
Pacific raiiroad property from the ln-
to Cotton avenue, and property owners !
on uveriana street are also to have
walks laid.
