Morey, president of the American Beet
Sugar company, will leave in a few
days for Washington to oppose in per
son the proporcd reduction in tariff
rates on sugar. Mr. Morey purposes
leading a campaign to induce a ma
jority of the representatives to vote
against tariff reduction on sugar.
